WASHINGTON , DC – Among increasing global concern about coronavirus, a new piece of information pertaining to the Phase I trade deal the United States signed with China is raising some eyebrows.

One staffer, who was in the room for most of the US-China negotiations, has confirmed that the agreement allows for China to export new and contagious viruses.

Other sources close to the negotiations are now recalling odd phrases that were overheard during the process.

In one instance during initial negotiations, US officials were confused about why the translated document bragged about the Hunan Seafood market 'going viral.'

Officials are not commenting on whether this will impact the negotiations for Phase II of the trade deal.
