Tensions high at Boeing Christmas party as office safety coordinator grounds all hanging decorations

CHICAGO, IL – Tensions were sky high at Boeing’s corporate Christmas party after the office safety coordinator deemed various decorations hanging from the ceiling “too risky.”

According to multiple anonymous sources, the coordinator then grounded all hanging decorations during the Christmas party set-up.

“Our engineering team said the decorations were safe to hang but given the year we’ve had, this is probably a good decision,” said one Boeing employee.

The safety coordinator has not yet provided a timeline for the return of decorations to the ceiling. The corporate office party planning committee has removed hanging decorations from their schedules until mid 2020.
