OTTAWA, ON – A new report issued by a global engineering firm examined structural issues with buildings around the world which house nation’s central banks.
The detailed report explains that numerous cracks were discovered in the foundation of buildings located in Ottawa, Washington, Frankfurt and London.
The cracking was reported to be nearing dangerous levels in two of the four locations.
The analysis conducted by the engineering firm, in consultation with economists, states the likely cause for the cracking foundations is due to elected officials leaning too heavily on the central banks.
“The institution shouldn’t be under this much stress,” said David Frendle, chief engineer and co-author of the report. “If these governments continue to lean on these banks for an extended period of time, I fear the consequences could be catastrophic.”
