NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – A leaked internal memo from consumer product, medical device and pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson shows a new strategy for the company is in the works.
A recent product innovation roundtable resulted in the novel idea to go against company policy and not put asbestos in an upcoming line of feminine hygiene products.
J&J was dubbed an industry leader when it boldly announced that it had successfully determined how to include asbestos in baby powder, something the company spent 10+ years developing.
As a result of this leaked memo, the company will also halt production on a pro-asbestos TV advertisement.
