TORONTO, ON – Officials with the association of Black Market Marijuana Producers and Dealers of Ontario (BMMPDO) announced this week that they had a better-than-expected 2019.
“Thanks to high prices and a lack of supply in the regulated market, we’ve had a better year than our most optimistic models projected.”
“We originally forecasted a huge drop in aggregate Q1 sales which we expected to continue through Q4,” said Jerry Atkinson of the BMMPDO. “Thanks to high prices and a lack of supply in the regulated market, we’ve had a better year than our most optimistic models projected.”
With just 24 legal stores serving a province of over 14 million people, the BMMPDO thanked the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
“We expected many of our members to incur substantial impairment charges on inventories, but thanks to the AGCO many of our producers turned their inventories 2-3 times faster than anticipated,” concluded Atkinson.
